PICTURES AND OUTINGS
Ocassionally we're blessed with tickets for all types of events, and we are truly grateful for your gifts. On Friday April 2, 2010 New B'ginnings went on an outing to the "National High School Finals" held at Coppin State University of Baltimore City. It was an ideal gathering that featured a basketball tournament of four games, both boys and girls . The teams came from various states to take part in the Semi Finals. Overall we had a great time there and here are a few pics taken to help reflect the moment.
COACHING FUN
Along with Mentoring, Coaching basketball has always been a passion for me. We work with kids regularly helping to promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, building relationships and communications. We constantly remind kids that the game is about fun, and learning how to play better to enhance on their skills.
Winning's good but a winning attitude is always better and win or lose you'll always win with a good attitude. Our goal is to teach youth because we care and want to see them succeed in life.
Here during our timeout we discuss different strategies needed to execute in effort to out-smart the competition. After a successful win, we go out for pizza and celebrate.
Our youth are truly the answers to tomorrow's promise.
